So if you know me or have read my blog you know that Keith (my boyfriend) has a 6 year old son. So I figured it would be nice of me if I planned something fun for Adyn to give his dad for Father's Day. I really had NO idea what to give him and I kind of put the thought of Father's Day on the back burner. Finally June rolled around and I almost had a heart attack because Father's Day is THIS MONTH! So I started scrambling my brain for ideas. Well a couple of months ago my friend McKinli posted THEE CUTEST pictures of her daughter. So I asked where she got them done and she told me about FotoFly. A good friend that I work with has also taken her daughter to FotoFly and the pictures turned out SO SO CUTE! So I thought well maybe I could go get Adyn's pictures taken for Keith! So I got onto their website and they had an opening this month before Father's Day. So I booked the appointment! It was so easy and you just book your appointment right online.. Then the stress kicked in! What am I going to have him wear?? So I went to The Children's Place and found two darling outfits. So that part was done. But I wanted something a little more! I wanted something that said "Happy Father's Day" So I thought I would make some sort of sign. Then I thought that maybe I should have Adyn write some reasons why he loves Keith and we could give him that on Father's Day. So I kind of combined these ideas. I decided I would make little chalk boards and have Adyn write on them reasons he loves Keith! I got online and customized a picture frame that said "I love you because..." and had 3 individual frames for me to put the pictures in. So one day when Keith was taking a nap me and Adyn played with the chalk boards. Adyn wrote 3 different reasons he loves Keith and I wrote "Happy Father's Day" on three other chalk boards.

So now I just have to wait for the day of the pictures! I told Keith that I needed to take Adyn somewhere but I didn't tell him where. Adyn is really good at keeping secrets so he didn't tell Keith either. Adyn told Keith we were at the Spider and Dinosaur museum LOL :) So Keith met me in Draper and dropped Adyn off to me and we went to FotoFly. OH MY GOSH! I can't even begin to describe what an amazing place this is. The employees were all so incredibly nice. And the rooms and decorations in this place were darling. I had to take Adyn in the bathroom and get him ready and put him in his cute clothes so we could do the pictures. Our photographer was so nice and sweet and Adyn just LOVED all of the attention. The 45 minutes we had flew by. So they said I could go back in one hour and preview my pictures!! ONE HOUR? that is amazing. So we met back up with Keith and went and ate and got some frozen yogurt and Keith and Adyn left and I went back to preview my pictures. The guy helping me pulled up the pictures and started showing them to me and my eyes got all watery. I couldn't believe what an AMAZING job they did! It was seriously so much better than I could have ever imagined. So they gave me a CD with all the pictures on it. So I had them all printed at Costco. I put the three reasons Adyn loves Keith in the cute frame I ordered. And it worked out perfectly because the frame is actually double sided. so you turn it around and it has Adyn holding the "Happy Father's Day" chalk boards. FotoFly printed1 free 8 X 10 picture for me since it was my first time there. So I picked out a cute frame for that. I couldn't decide how to show Keith all of the pictures, if I should do a slide show on the computer or print all the pictures and show him?? So since I had already printed the pictures I went and found a cute photo book and just put them all in there.
I was way too excited about this present to wait until Sunday for Keith to open them! So we cheated and let Keith open this on Saturday!! He absolutely loved the pictures. We actually ended up going and buying more frames to put up around Keith's apartment. I am seriously amazed at how amazing all the pictures turned out :) I hope all of you dads had a great Father's Day :)
